Scavenger Hunts

We have partnered with Parks & Trails Council of MN again this summer to bring you a summer scavenger hunt with great prizes! 15 weekly prizes $20 gift cards, plus an additional prize at the end of the summer from The Friends of Tettegouche State Park. The scavenger hunt runs from June 1st to September 12th.

Walk the trails at Tettegouche State Park and try to find everything on the list.  Be sure to take pics!

Instagram your Hunt (20 Points)

Post a photo on Instagram from your hunt, either a selfie or something you found.
Tag us on your photo @parksandtrailsmn @tettegouchestatepark.

Rules And Prize Drawings

Submit the form to be entered in our weekly drawing for a $20 gift card to Minnesota State Parks.

Anyone from age 1-100+ may participate, but for participants age 12 and under, a parent/guardian will need to submit the form.

Entrants are limited to one hunt per park or trail during the event season. But feel free to do them all!

Points = Entiers in Weekly Drawing

  • 20 pts – For submitting this form
  • 1 pt (19 max) – For each “item” you find
  • 20 pts – For sharing an Instagram photo of your adventure
  • 5 pts (10 max) – For each child age 12 and under who participates with you

Woodland Flower Scavenger Hunt

Take a walk in the woods of Tettegouche State Park and look down at the plants that decorate the forest floor. Look for these treasures on your next walk. You won't find all of them in one place, but if you hike one or more of the trails, you're sure to find some. See how many you can find.
