Whether or not you’ve laced snowshoes before, you can lace up your very own snowshoe Adirondack-style chair. Experienced instructors will provide assistance for you to lace your own chair. This workshop will consist of two consecutive day sessions from 9am to 4pm at the Visitor Center. Children 12 years old or older are encouraged if accompanied by an adult. ***Participants must attend both days. A $210 fee covers the snowshoe kit, materials and instruction, along with coffee, tea, and snacks.…

Event details Dust off those old snowshoes or borrow a pair from the Park for hike up the Baptism River Valley. Beginners will get a nice introduction to this low-impact winter sport. The Park Naturalist will lead you on a gentle stroll up the river valley, giving snowshoeing tips and interpreting the winter scene that we encounter along the way.
