Concert in the Park featuring Geno LaFond and Amy Grillo
September 24 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
The Friends of Tettegouche State Park are hosting three concerts this summer at Tettegouche. The final show of the season features Gene LaFond and Amy Grillo. They put on a lovely show featuring original music and some good, old covers. There will be a campfire and free s’mores in the outdoor fireplace behind the Visitor Center from 6 – 6:45 pm. Concert begins at 7 pm
Gene LaFond was a founding member of the band “The Mere Mortals” which, along with the late Larry Kegan, were invited to perform twice at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit Concert in San Francisco. Geno has opened for Bob Dylan, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Kinky Friedman, and has performed numerous sold out concerts in the Midwest over the years.
The concert will be held in the amphitheater behind the visitor center – indoors if rainy.
